Royal Bank of Scotland has admitted failings in the way it treated some small business customers.

The Financial Conduct Authority has published an interim report into the conduct of the bank’s Global Restructuring Group.

GRG operated from 2005 to 2013 and at its peak handled 16,000 companies.

RBS said it had previously acknowledged failings with GRG customers and has again apologised for these mistakes.
